The return ground of the load must be connected to the shell of the power supply or 3 feet to form a loop.

All power supplies in our company are closed-loop design, which belongs to constant voltage power supply. The shell of the power supply is the reference ground and also the loop ground. Therefore, the customer must connect the shell of the load to the shell of the power supply when using it, otherwise the power supply may be damaged because there is no circuit and cause high voltage breakdown.
